can popping the clutch ruin a dirt bike?
well heres how it went my girlfriends brother has an 80cc dirt bike and its built up to look like a 120 but hes blaming me because it broke down he thinks i was popping the clutch i dont think it would brake that ease
Popping the clutch isn't hurting anything except the clutch itself. I would imagine if the clutch blew apart it could go through the case but it would have to be rare.
I raced cycles for years a long time ago and at the start of a race you are popping the clutch every time. I have seized pistons, blown up pistons and snapped chains but have never ruined a clutch.
I would imagine it just picked the time to go out while you were on it.

On a dirt bike does letting the clutch out fast wreck it?
I my bike i like to put the wheel in dirt (when iv stopped) then rev the engine while letting the clutch out really fast to spin the back wheel.But does it do any harm on my clutch or anything?
The sudden shock of acceleration wares the chain and sprockets faster.
It puts excessive ware on the counter shaft bearing and seal.
Dirt bikes are meant to be ridden hard.
Just be prepared to rebuild the engine a little sooner than normal.
Don't worry about it.
