where can i buy used dirt bike parts?
i need an exhaust pipe for a 1992 Suzuki rm250.
it is my spare bike for when a friend has nothing to ride so i dont want to spend a lot of money on the pipe.
i only spent about $700 on the whole bike with the repairs i did to it.
the exhaust pipe is badly rusted and i would like to replace it so the bike looks halfway decent.
new ones will cost me $230 which is nearly half of what i spent on the entire bike.
i already checked craigslist and Ebay. nothing there
on Ebay i found a pipe for a 1996 rm250 but i was told by a local Suzuki dealer that they dont think it will fit. i dont want to buy it on ebay(where i cant return it) if im not sure it will fit.

If it's just a spare bike, consider sanding down the heavy rust and painting it with high temperature paint.
Hi-temp paint is available at auto parts stores.
Dealerships do that all the time, when selling used bikes they took in on trade-ins.
OR search the web for - motorcycle salvage - and call around.
