BIRDS are for the BIRDS?

I have a trust issue with all birds. I was attact by a black bird when i was a child, i was riding my bike,on an old dirt road, pine trees lined the road close to the road. My dad said that i must have gotton to close to it's nest, but since that day, i'm affraid of birds,, robins, and humming birds are ok. i feed the hummers. my problem is tho, my sister inlaw has birds,, and i'm affraid to go to her house.I try to stay out side, this bird attack happend when I was 8, i am now 33. i think it's time to get over it. any advice,,,,,and i know it sounds funny getting the crap kicked out of you by a bird and all. believe me it wasnt funny at the time, it was pecking at my hair and shirt,

nothing wrong with that, i have 14 birds(i guess we wont be hanging out anytime soon) but right in my front yard was a momma robin who attacked me every time i got the mail. i have 3 very big, mean birds and that little robin made me run like the dickens. i took my conure with me once to look tough i guess, i figured she would be afraid of a bigger bird, well she charged at him so fast that the poor conure ran right beside me (he cant fly!!!) . i don't know how to help you, i guess you can tell your sil to keep them locked when you visit, and just stay away from them because they know who's scared of them, and they love it. no shame in being afraid, my sister in law is 38 and she is terrified of bugs, no matter how little.
