why does my pocket bike stall?
I have a 49cc giovanni mini dirt bike.
It starts just fine however after a good 1 minute into a good ride it starts to stall. When riding the engine sounds as if it is about to turn off however it remains on making the ride a back and fourth stuggle. After serveral jukes the motor shuts off forcing me to pull start it again.
Does any one know what might be the problem?
Could be dirt or water in the mix that could be solved by removing the carburetter and cleaning it out and blowing out the jets and also doing a similar job on the tank.
Another option: The fuel tank vent is blocked and this would not allow air into the tank as the petrol goes out, thereby creating a vacuum in the tank which would stop the petrol flowing out.
Another option: did you replace the fuel cap recently as there might have been a vent in the previous one and not in the new one.
